Reports - Executive Summary, Custom Reports - allow the Report/Executive Summary to be used in Metric/Dashboard Reports
One complete report. Limited in having one monthly reports that gathers information that can be selected in an Executive Summary, but also utilize metric information. Can't show specific statistics and captured information from an incident. If a report is showing Impacted Data is X, no way to determine the statistics of incidents, and incident field values in the same report.

This example is for our Privacy team. Having them use another app for generating reports would not be accepted.
Privacy provides several different report to various Supervisors, VPs, and Board Members. They can produce incident metrics, but are unable to also include the details or an explanation of the metrics. If there was a way to combine elements, so that one report could contain, metrics and summary fields.
Their work around is to generate both reports and cut and paste the information into Word and then save it as a PDF.

Could you perhaps restate the use case here in a bit more detail ?
If the current Analytics Dashboard doesn't support whats required would using the dataFeeder app to feed an external system and then running reports from that be an option ?
