Currently we have Due Date being assigned to each task and when a due date is exceeded we want to send escalation email notification to the manager. Using the Email Notification tab it is not possible to send an Email Notification trigger when a Due Date is exceeded for a Task until a refresh of that Task occurs which is not ideally an automation task. We have tried multiple combinations with Support team and non of them were helpful.
As a basic feature for an Incident Response Tool the Auto Escalation Email feature has to be available and it should be easy to use and not to work with Rest API's and any other external coding. This should be available as an inbuilt feature.
